BATHFULLNESS
With soaps and suds
And soothing sounds
The worries that
The bathtub drowns
Close your eyes
And see the light
Know that all
In life is right
Coldness gone
Been chased away
The warmth of love
Finds a place to stay
Lay back
Let the water caress
A smile will grow
Beyond repress
Now walk along
Those sandy beaches
Follow your mind
To the farthest reaches
Prance in forests
Soft and green
Lay in fields
So serene
Hear the music
Trickling in
A distant angel
Sings a hymn
Breathe deep
Expel the waste
Worry, fear
And all distaste
Clear your mind
And stay right there
Be the bubble
Filled with air
Now walk back in
From your forest or field
Knowing you've started
A mindful appeal
To live your life
From this day forth
With love and peace
Without remorse
And maybe the bath
Helped it begin
But all you need
You have within
