What I want from you is freedom
Freedom of your heart
And of your soul
I want the freedom to do the best I can
Free to love the notes which move me
And to always stare upon the moon
Freedom to be me
Freedom just to be
Freedom is out there
And in there so deep
I need the freedom to talk in my sleep
The freedom to call you
When the moon's at a crest
The freedom to need you
When I'm failing life's test
The freedom to be open
To all that you might
And to hope for you there
When I lay down at night
And I promise you
If there's one thing that's true
It's that you'll have that freedom too
