DEPARTURE COMES
Time is like
A passing cloud
To smile or cry
Or laugh out loud
True feelings
You can't ignore
Floating by
But always more
Friends you know
The second you meet
Whether simmering slow
Or on full heat
Holding close
Each moment found
Without a title
More profound
Future questions
A waste of time
Enjoy the potion
Yours and mine
With dancing chimes
And candle light
Singing rhymes
The moon takes flight
Departure comes
And holds my hand
Through the hourglass
To a distant land
Know that with
Each passing day
Morning blue
Or morning grey
With thought of you
The smile that zips
Upon the face
That kissed your lips
