BECALMED
When I get there I'll be there
And not a second before
There something'll be waiting
Behind the next door
It's not a concern
Of mine to go guessing
What's around the next corner
For it's always a blessing
Though sometimes in disguise
It is meant to be
No it's not the wrong person
It was meant for me
Let's say for a moment
I didn't like what I got
And I just turned my back
Would it all be forgot
Maybe for a while
And I may think I've won
But then the next instant
Consequence
Comes on the run
And now that first hardship
I tried to ignore
Comes back with it's friends
And knocks on my door
So if I believe
It was all meant to be
That the world is my oyster
Though nothing's for free
Then I'll look for that blessing
And one day I'll find it
I'll smile to the world
And thank whoever's behind it
